Sean Taylor is a vice president in the Antitrust & Competition Economics Practice of Charles River Associates. His consulting expertise spans a variety of economic matters related to antitrust, product liability, intellectual property, and employment discrimination.

Mr. Taylor has evaluated antitrust claims relating to exclusionary conduct and price fixing, assessed the competitive impact of proposed mergers and joint ventures, analyzed claims of discrimination in employment practices, addressed class certification issues, and calculated damages for product liability and patent infringement matters. He has extensive experience conducting quantitative analyses involving large datasets. He frequently designs algorithms to process and analyze large datasets and applies econometric methods and statistical procedures in working with data. Mr. Taylor’s work covers a wide range of industries, including health insurance, pharmaceuticals, airlines, information technology, manufacturing, and professional sports.

Mr. Taylor is committed to pro bono efforts. He has conducted analyses on behalf of nonprofit organizations in legal proceedings and has advised nonprofits on program evaluation methods and data analytics.

Mr. Taylor is a professor of economics at the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago, where he teaches in the Healthcare Management Executive MBA Program. Prior to joining CRA, he was an associate director with Navigant Economics. Before that, he worked at ERS Group, Welch Consulting, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
