Raji Seshan
Raji Seshan is a Principal in the Intellectual Property Practice of CRA
She has over 20 years of financial consulting experience in the context of Intellectual Property (IP) matters and commercial disputes. She has performed economic and financial analyses, IP and business valuations, and licensing-related consulting services in a variety of settings, including the International Trade Commission, Federal and State Courts and Arbitration. She has participated in numerous high-profile IP cases and has served as a consultant on many cases through trial and jury verdict.
Ms. Seshan has experience in matters involving patent infringement, breach of contract, theft of trade secrets and commercial litigation. She also has extensive experience analyzing international trade issues, reasonable royalties, lost profits, and unjust enrichment damages. Her industry experience includes computer hardware and software, lighting, semiconductors, telecommunications, and consumer products among others.
She has assisted clients on licensing, strategy consulting and valuation of IP rights, including standard-essential patent rights. This includes study and evaluation of royalties for standard-essential patents involving Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G and 5G technologies in FRAND licensing contexts. Ms. Seshan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
