Michael D. Korschek
Michael D. Korschek is an associate principal in CRA’s Energy Practice. He has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry and specializes in power market forecast modeling.
Mr. Korschek’s experience in the field encompasses a wide range of projects including Integrated Resource Planning (IRP), LNG import strategy, and natural gas and electric generation asset valuations in North American and overseas markets. He has extensive experience in the IRP area, assisting a wide range of clients from small co-ops to large-scale utilities. These engagements have analyzed such diverse areas as renewable energy/environmental goals, asset retirement strategy, loss of load assessments, and ISO integration strategy.
Mr. Korschek holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and supply chain management from the University of Maryland as well as a master’s degree in public policy with a concentration in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University.
