Mengxi Wu
Dr. Mengxi Wu is a principal in CRA’s Antitrust & Competition Economics Practice.
Dr. Wu provides economic research and analysis in the areas of antitrust and commercial litigation. She is skilled at using econometrics and applying economic theory to provide insights in litigation matters. Dr. Wu’s practice is focused on issues related to class certification and damages with respect to both direct purchaser and indirect purchaser litigation, and her work has spanned a range of industries.
Dr. Wu’s academic research is focused on understanding firm strategy and consumer behavior using complex data from large firms, such as Yelp and Alibaba. The areas that she is specialized in include online consumer behavior, consumer learning and firm pricing strategy.
Dr. Wu received her MA and PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and her BA in Economics and Mathematics, summa cum laude, from Wellesley College.
