Dr. Tripolski-Kimel is a principal with CRA’s Financial Markets Practice in the Boston office.
She has worked on securities and business litigation matters across a variety of industries, including technologies, financial services, pharmaceuticals, healthcare equipment, transportation, and oil & gas.
Dr. Tripolski-Kimel has expertise in business valuation and appraisal actions in the Delaware Court of Chancery as well as securities disputes in Rule 10b-5 and Section 11 matters. She is experienced in DCF valuation & cost of capital analysis as well as market efficiency, price impact analysis, event studies, settlement analysis, and damages issues, including the estimation of aggregate damages using various estimation methods and trading records. In addition, Dr. Tripolski-Kimel assists clients in antitrust and competition matters related to mergers and acquisitions, monopolization, and collusion. She is experienced in data analysis, statistical estimation, and sampling techniques. Dr. Tripolski-Kimel assists clients in all phases of litigation, including class certification, mediation, settlement, depositions, trial, and international arbitration.
In addition to her work at CRA, Dr. Tripolski-Kimel teaches Statistics for Economists in the Master of Economics Program at Boston University. Prior to joining CRA and BU, she taught undergraduate and graduate classes in econometrics and financial economics at the University of Chicago. Dr. Tripolski-Kimel’s research was published in Technometrics, Finance Research Letters, and was featured in the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation. Dr. Tripolski-Kimel is fluent in English, Hebrew, and Russian.
