Lee Whitfield

Mr. Whitfield is an internationally recognized digital forensics researcher, examiner, and educator. He has conducted investigations in both civil and criminal matters involving intellectual property theft, contract disputes, financial fraud, terrorism, and child sexual abuse. He has testified on both the defending and prosecuting sides as an expert witness in both the US and the UK.

Mr. Whitfield is an Instructor at the SANS Institute, where he teaches a class in forensic analysis for Windows and a class in forensic analysis and incident response class for iOS and Mac.

Mr. Whitfield is an accomplished trainer who has lectured on digital forensics research at conferences such as the SANS DFIR Summit, the D.O.D. Cybercrime Conference and the National Police Improvement Digital Crime Conference. He also guest lectures for universities and colleges.
