Jeffrey A. Garfield is vice president in the Forensic Services Practice of CRA.
He has almost 20 years of professional services and industry experience related to matters involving financial and fraud investigations, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), investigating bribery and corruption and the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and other regulatory inquiries and investigations, as well as the provision of consulting services in the areas of forensic accounting, data analytics, and compliance program transformation. In 2024, he was elected Director at the Legal Aid Society of Metropolitan Family Services, reflecting his commitment to providing equal access to justice for all and legal advocacy.
Prior to joining CRA, Mr. Garfield was Principal (Partner) with a big 4 accounting firm focusing on investigations and compliance program transformation services. He served as their National Life Sciences Risk and Compliance Leader and Midwest Forensic Practice Leader. He also served as their Risk Consulting National Leader for Compliance Automation and Analytics for Life Sciences, developing scalable data-driven solutions to proactively prevent, detect, and respond to current and emerging risks.
Jeff is principally focused on supporting our clients in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and life sciences sector; however has led numerous large scale compliance focused engagements and investigations across a wide range of industries and has extensive international business experience on related matters in over 30 countries as well as many states within the United States.
