Christi Uminski specializes in financial and economic issues with a concentration in Intellectual Property (IP) litigation and arbitration. She advises clients in a variety of situations including financial and economic analysis, business and asset valuation, business strategy, licensing negotiations, and damage quantification.

Christi leverages ten years of experience in the evaluation and quantification of economic damages in matters involving international trade issues, patent infringement, copyright infringement, theft of trade secrets, and breach of contract, amongst other matters. She has consulted through trial and jury verdict in numerous high-profile cases involving IP issues, in forums such as the International Trade Commission (USITC) and federal and state courts.

Over her career, Christi has developed expertise in damages analysis (including reasonable royalties, unjust enrichment, and lost profits), international trade issues (including domestic industry, public interest, and bonding), IP, intangible asset and business valuation, and injunctive relief.

Christi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia. She is an active volunteer with Minds Matter Chicago since 2016, having held several leadership positions, including being a mentor, an associate board member, and the Director of Volunteer Recruitment and Management.
