Alexandra Knatchbull is vice president in the Risk, Investigations & Analytics Practice of CRA and based in London. She leads CRA’s investigative efforts in Europe as part of a multi-disciplinary team of professionals that assists clients, including law firms, governments, and corporates, to solve complex legal and business challenges.
Alexandra has more than 15 years of diverse experience in the fields of dispute resolution, business intelligence and risk management. She has worked worldwide on complex intelligence-gathering and investigative matters. Her expertise covers litigation and arbitration support work, enhanced due diligence, and fraud and anti-corruption work, as well as specialist investigations.
Alexandra was previously a managing director with a NYSE-listed global risk and investigations consultancy in London. There she provided investigative, intelligence, and dispute resolution services in the EMEA region. Before joining CRA, she sat in-house as a freelance forensic investigator and advisor at a major London law firm. Her role involved designing and executing investigations for a range of clients within the Dispute Resolution, Contentious Trusts & Estates and Family departments, as well as advising the board on new client risk management.
Alexandra is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and has been recognized by Chambers and Partners for her pre-transactional advisory work. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Oxford University and a Master of Arts in Security Studies from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
