More and better healthcare digitally enabled

July 27, 2021

Looking through this great report by the FT, it’s worth reflecting on the progress being made today, using digital and remote solutions to deliver healthcare and what it will mean for the future.  Learning can and needs to be spread across countries and it’s not a one-way street.  There is much to be gained from supporting patients along care pathways digitally to enhance health systems’ efficiency, free up capacity, and provide better care to more people.

Digital tools can help with prevention, navigate complexities of healthcare provision, and support adherence.  Private providers and healthcare funders can lead the way, creating ecosystems with regulators, pharma and medical supplies companies to break though blockages and data protection concerns.  I am proud that we at Marakon have been supporting market participants to move this process forward during the course of the last year.
