CRA is pleased to announce that Laila Haider has been recognized in the Women We Admire Top Women Leaders of DC for 2024.
Laila Haider is an economist and a vice president in the Antitrust & Competition Practice at CRA. She provides expert economic testimony and economic analysis in matters involving antitrust, labor and employment, and false advertising issues. She testifies in federal court and depositions and arbitrations, including in several high-profile antitrust class action matters. Her primary area of expertise is the application of microeconomics and statistics to litigation issues.
Dr. Haider is serving on Council of the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Section. She recently served as Co-chair of the Women.Connected Committee of the Antitrust Law Section, which focuses on the recruitment, integration, contributions, and advancement of women in antitrust and consumer protection. She was previously Co-chair of the Economics Committee of the Antitrust Law Section. Dr. Haider has published articles in the Journal of the European Economic Association, Antitrust Magazine, and The Antitrust Practitioner and was Associate Editor of Antitrust Magazine. Dr. Haider is frequently invited to speak on antitrust issues.
