In this Q&A with Foreign Investment Watch, Jesse Sucher reflects on his time at the Department of the Treasury where he was Deputy Director and founding member of the first-ever enforcement arm of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
Sucher discusses how his experience may inform his work with clients. “When companies have a ‘CFIUS issue,’ they really have a problem with operations, governance, supply-chain, data security, regulatory compliance, etc.” Sucher expects his government experience and perspective will help CRA clients seeking proactive and reactive services including pre-deal diligence and advisory, investigation support, compliance program design and implementation, and independent/third-party services.
