Some highlights from the issue:
- A paper examining the impact of industrial policies (IPs) on innovation in the global automobile industry, compiling the first comprehensive dataset linking global IPs with patent data related to the auto industry from 2008 to 2023, documenting a major shift in policy focus with electric vehicle (EV) related sector innovation;
- An article considering the issue of whether anonymous artists can enforce copyright in courts while keeping their real identity confidential, specifically looking at street art and graffiti scenarios;
- An article exploring the likelihood of generative AI systems replacing human journalistic work, the author advises the introduction of remuneration rules that offer financial support for human work and, in particular, human public interest journalism to enable journalists to fulfill their functions in society.
