IP Literature Watch: January 2020

Can algorithms help promote fair use in copyright law? While the debate on the feasibility of developing automated fair use systems is not new, recent technological advances have invited policymakers and commentators to revisit this earlier debate.
Also in this edition of IP Literature Watch, we include a brief amici curiae of 82 law, economics, business and medical professors that requests that the Fifth Circuit affirm the FTC’s opinion in (FTC v. Actavis), a paper on how to incentivize accessible design, and a study of how an increase in low-skill wages leads to more automation innovation.
