CRA is pleased to announce that Eric Nierenberg has joined the company’s senior management team as a vice president. Dr. Nierenberg will be based in the company’s Boston headquarters.
“Eric began his career at CRA in 1996 and I am delighted to welcome him back,” said Paul Maleh, CRA’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “Eric’s work has included strategy development, people leadership, portfolio management, and capital markets analysis. He is an accomplished executive and strategist, and his expertise in corporate strategy and risk management is a great fit for our management team.”
Dr. Nierenberg previously served as Chief Strategy Officer for MassPRIM, the Massachusetts state pension fund. Prior to that, he was an equity portfolio manager at LMCG Investments and Independence Investments. He is an adjunct professor of finance at the International Business School of Brandeis University where he teaches graduate-level courses in options and derivatives, behavioral economics and finance, investments, and portfolio management. Dr. Nierenberg holds a BA and MA in economics from Harvard University and a PhD in business economics from Harvard Business School.
