CRA is proud to have worked on matters awarded by Global Competition Review during the 2023 GCR Awards.
Laurent Flochel, Mikaël Hervé, and Maxwell Andersen were a part of the team awarded for Litigation of the Year (Cartel Defence). CRA was retained by Freshfields Bruckhaus Derringer and through their work, the team was successful in convincing the French court to dismiss Colas’ cartel damages claim, following the EU’s Trucks cartel decision. A team of CRA Competition consultants also worked on Amazon’s $8.5 billion acquisition of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, which won Matter of the Year.
A team of CRA’s European Competition consultants were also involved in the matter that won Merger Control Matter of the Year. Retained by Latham & Watkins, the CRA team supported in Microsoft’s €18.2 billion acquisition of artificial intelligence and speech recognition software provider Nuance. CRA’s team of European Competition consultants also worked with Clifford Chance on the case settling the European Commission’s dual probes into Amazon with an extensive commitment package which won Behavioral Matter of the Year for Europe.
