Charles River Associates completed the three-part webinar series focused on the economic and social impact of diversity on corporate boards, with the third session on “Are there barriers in the pipeline of qualified diverse board candidates?.”
As companies try to respond to legal requirements and stakeholder pushes for greater board diversity, one challenge they perceive to face is the availability of qualified candidates. This one-hour session discusses:
- The background, skills and qualifications that companies seek when searching for board members, and how this may unintentionally create barriers for enhancing board diversity.
- The market for qualified board members at small, mid, and large sized companies, and the steps that could be taken at various stages of the development process to increase the diversity of qualified candidates.
