CRA Intellectual Property experts were engaged by a major US-based steel producer in a matter before the International Trade Commission involving alleged false designation of origin of various types of steel by foreign manufacturers and distributors.
CRA experts performed financial and economic analyses regarding significant injury or threat of significant injury to the steel producer’s domestic industry. They also conducted several econometric analyses to illustrate injury, including financial time series forecasting using various generally accepted techniques. Several diagnostic tests were conducted to establish the reliability of predicted values. CRA’s expert provided expert testimony in this matter.
