A multinational oil and gas client reached out to CRA’s Energy consultants to help assess the firm’s existing capital plan for investment in the hydrogen sector and identify which end-use sectors should be emphasized.
The CRA team helped facilitate a strategy session with participants from across the client’s organization focused on hydrogen market development. CRA engaged the client to determine which end-uses for hydrogen were most relevant based on the strategic development session and engaged in a deep market and commercial analysis regarding investment in specific sectors and infrastructure. CRA then helped codify the client’s investment strategy within the sector by helping to structure the investment timeline across regions.
Results from this engagement have informed discussions with senior executives regarding the allocation of capital for investment in the hydrogen sector.
