Biotech client was looking to evaluate the financial implications of various innovative business models/strategic offerings for its novel gene therapy.
CRA approach
We collaborated with the client team to define the business models/offerings to be considered. CRA built a flexible model designed to forecast the impact on key financial metrics of the various business models / offerings. We supported the client in modeling a range of scenarios reflecting degrees of investment to enable those business models and conducted sensitivity analyses on highly variable and/or uncertain inputs.
Client impact
Our custom interactive tool allowed the client to quickly observe net revenue implications of various business model strategies. Results helped inform launch strategy by forecasting gross-to-net impact of the scenarios / strategies under consideration.
