Financial Economics experts provided model validation and disparate impact reviews for FinTech lending clients, which were required to meet the model risk management requirements of their investors or partners. While the reviews confirmed that there was no evidence of material disparate impact discrimination risk, we were able to provide recommendations for improving data management, model documentation, and process documentation that would improve the rigor of risk management and streamline future compliance reviews.
