CRA’s Risk, Investigations & Analytics team supported outside Counsel in a pre-litigation forensic investigation by providing background research and human source intelligence to support Counsel’s evolving legal strategy.
CRA conducted document reviews and cross-referenced evidence with 8+ years of data held by the client. CRA’s investigative findings, including documentary evidence and relevant commentary from sources, contributed to the evolution of the case from a GBP 40+ million breach of contract claim into a GBP 150+ million fraud claim. CRA also identified and provided documentary evidence to other advisors in support of parallel proceedings against related defendants in other jurisdictions, which led to marked progress in their respective legal cases.
