Hague Convention child abduction matter in West Africa

CRA’s Risk, Investigations & Analytics practice assisted counsel with helping locate a seven year-old girl abducted by her father while she and her mother were visiting family in West Africa. Our team identified businesses run by the father as well as family members and business associates. We leveraged our sources  familiar with the failed-state political situation in that country to gather detailed information on security issues and where the father was working, which helped the mother triangulate where her daughter was being held. Our work helped prove that the father had been lying to the court. Mother and daughter were safely reunited in New York.
