Charles River Associates was retained by Bloomberg to advise on its acquisition of Broadway Technology, a provider of fixed-income trading execution management systems. The combination will allow Bloomberg to innovate in providing low latency and multi-asset class execution across both credit and rates markets.
The CRA team was led by Simon Chisholm in Europe and Andrew Dick in the US, supported by Gopal Das Varma, Dominik Fischer, Swati Kanoria, Marissa Li, Shreyas Guntur, and Joanna Young. CRA worked closely with lawyers from Ropes & Gray representing Bloomberg including Ruchit Patel and Jonathan Klarfeld.
