CRA Senior Consultant, Dr. James R. Kearl, recently testified for Plaintiff, Complete Genomics, Inc. (CGI), in a Delaware Federal Court about damages in a patent infringement trial dealing with DNA sequencing. The jury returned a verdict in favor of CGI deciding that Defendant, Illumina, Inc., willfully infringed CGI’s patents and awarded the precise number of Dr. Kearl’s damages: $333.8 million. Dr. Kearl was assisted by the CRA team in Salt Lake City, including VP, Dr. Greg Adams, Principal, Dr. Steven Waters, and CRA Associates, Todd Lewis, Anna Cvetko, and Mason Fields.
