CRA was engaged to conduct buy-side commercial due diligence ahead of a potential investment in a large-scale ammonia export project.
CRA approach
CRA conducted due diligence on commercial documents provided by the project developer, evaluating whether the proposed commercial terms adequately incorporated the prevailing layered regulatory risk between the supply region and the demand region. CRA also reviewed the prepared financial model and provided techno-commercial assumptions for the modeling exercise.
Client impact
CRA’s analysis culminated in a detailed memo which was submitted to the investment team to inform the potential investment in the project.
