A CRA expert testified at an arbitration hearing concerning damages due to the breach and termination of several name-brand licensing agreements in the apparel industry. The licenses were terminated after the brand was acquired by a publicly traded nationwide men’s clothing retailer. The CRA expert demonstrated the claimant’s lost profits and the respondent’s gain due to the termination of the valuable license agreements. The arbitration tribunal completely accepted the CRA expert’s damage approaches and awarded the claimants more than $40 million in damages.
