CRA’s expert was retained by defendants in a $6 billion merger dispute before The Delaware Court of Chancery involving claims for unfair merger consideration. CRA’s expert applied various valuation methodologies, demonstrating that the value of the consideration received by common shareholders was fair, i.e., it exceeded the value of the common shares relinquished in the merger. After the deposition of CRA’s expert, defendants entered into a favorable settlement with the class of plaintiffs.
