Vice President David DesLauriers recently testified as part of an expert panel before the Alberta Utilities Commission (Proceeding ID 24116) on the topic of new considerations for electric utility regulatory structures to address rapidly advancing technology. David’s testimony supported a CRA report that he authored on these topics and filed with the Commission in the proceeding. Testimony and report topics included: cost recovery for emerging technology investments, performance based rates, rate setting for distributed generation, and more.
