Jenny Haydock is a principal with the Competition Practice at Charles River Associates. Since joining CRA in 2006, Dr. Haydock has provided theoretical and empirical economic analysis in relation to a variety of cases, including state aid investigations and allegations of abuse of dominance and cartel behaviour. She has also advised on both horizontal and non-horizontal mergers. Many of these cases have been before the European Commission, but Dr. Haydock has also worked on cases before authorities and arbitrators in the UK and South Africa, as well as several national European authorities. Her experience covers a wide range of industries, including consumer goods and services, and the financial sector. Dr. Haydock has published on the topic of state aid to financial institutions.
Dr. Haydock was previously a student at the University of Oxford where she completed her DPhil, which was a theoretical study of price-matching guarantees. She also holds an MPhil in Economics and a BA in philosophy, politics, and economics, both also from Oxford.
